94 New Yorker Idle too high

Default 94 New Yorker Idle too high

Idle @ 1250 RPM should be 800, replaced IAC valve, PCM clear, scan tool indicated no codes, Air cond off, Car warmed up.

Check for mechanical "Binding" in the throttle plate, or cables, (Specifically Cruise control cable and servo)....

If nothing is obvious, Sit in the vehicle, in drive, left foot firmly on the brake, and floor it . as soon as the engine reaches its peak rpm , shut the key off...... put it in park and restart it.
