Blown Head Gasket '97 Concorde
3.3 V6 overheated at idle (not sure why, t-stat, I think) and blew a hole in the Reservoir/Overflow tank.
Took to radiator shop where they pressure tested it and believe it's a Head Gasket. [] Cue "taps" on trumpet
I called a repair shop I know and they said it's probably not worth repairing. "Aluminum Heads, possible cracked block, blah, blah" So, I wanted to get some Chrysler people input as to IF anyone has experience with this and whether I should just sell it for parts?
I hate to say that, it's a nice car. Bummed out in Nashville. 104 in the shade today.
