Concorde Parking Brake
Hi Everyone,
My sister-in-law has a 1998 Concorde that just failed inspection because the driver side parking brake shoes went through the backing plate! The shop zip tied everything back together and let her drive home. I will fix the car for her, but none of the yards around me have a Concorde. I need the backing plate (04728111), and it looks like the same plate was used on a lot of Dodge, Chrysler, and Plymouth vehicles in the late 1990's and early 2000's. I spot checked some PT Cruisers and Neons, and the part is the same. Can any knowledgeable person verify that this plate was used on certain years across the board? I want to call a yard and just spitball vehciles at them to see what they have, but want to be confident I get the right plate. Can someone school me? Thanks!
Toby

Thanks! Someone in the Concorde Facebook group gave me the full compatibility list for that part, and a local yard had a PT Cruiser with the right backing plate. All good to go.
