Wont start after engine swap
We took the motor out of a 96 chrysler concorde because it was knocking real bad but the engine still started fine. We put the new motor out of a 96 dodge intrepid in and when we went to fire it there was no spark. We put new plugs in the car so that wasnt the problem, we then tried changing out the coil pack and wires from the old motor, that still ran, onto the newer motor but still no spark. We also changed the entire wiring harness over from the old motor knowing that it worked and i put in a new crank position sensor tonight which helpe dnothing. I cant think of anything else that would affect the spark . Does anyone have any thing they think i should check, im guessing its probably something stupid i forgot. The motor is getting fuel but when the spark plug is out there is no visual spark and no attempt to turn over when all 6 are in.
