Default 03 dash control unit

On my 03 sebring LX, with the ac system on recirc, most of time it will blow through the defrost. It looks like the control unit in the dash is bad from what I have read and the fact I can press on it near the selector switch and it will change where it blows (sometimes vents, sometimes floor vents). What I am wondering is if when I replace it, can I purchase the unit with auto temp control (looks like the internal temp sensor is on the unit itself) or do I have to get the manual standard one.

Dash control unit, all models, sedan, w/atc

or
Dash control unit, all models, sedan, w/o atc
01-06

Thanks

The automatic temp control requires a sunlight sensor on the dash and a body control module (computer) that is set up for it. Your car doesn't have those things.
Before you replace the control head, take a look at where the smaller plug ataches. There are 8 prongs in that socket. If any are loose, take the unit apart and carefully solder them. That might cure the problem.

Default Sensor for dash lights

Could anyone tell me how to fix my dashlights, which are going on and off without touching them?
Thanks!!!
