Default 1998 Chrysler sebring convertible limited v6

Hey guys i'm pretty new to this forum but i have big problems. I have a 1998 chrysler sebring convertible limited v6 2.5 and apparently the gear is stuck in first gear. It will not shift into any other gears. You are probably thinking oh well i have to change the shift solenoid. I have changed the solenoid and then i have no gears. If anyone can help me out with this problem i would be very thankful.

That's an electronically controlled transmission. Take it somewhere where they have the proper diagnostic equipment to read the error codes in the trans computer. We're talking a dealership, or a transmission shop or a well-equipped garage here. Not some parts store or corner gas station. A pressure test may also be required to find the problem.
There's no way you're going to get a proper diagnosis over the internet. Anything anyone could post here would be pure guesswork.
