Default 2002 2.7 Engine Failure

I'm looking for a used 2.7, non-EGR engine for a 2002 sebring convertible. I understand there's something different in the convertible version of the 2.7 (I thought it had something to do with the front cover and motor mount)
My question is; when searching for an engine, whats models of Chrysler cars and year ranges can I consider?

Thanks in advance

Gary

Somewhere in the middle of the 2004 model year they made a change that is not compatible with your 2002. You should be all right with a 2001 through 2003 Sebring convertible or sedan, or Dodge Stratus sedan. Coupes (Dodge and Chrysler) were built by Mitsubishi and have Mitsu engines.
