Default 2002 Chrysler Sebring AC Control Unit PLUG

I need the part number for the SMALL WHITE plug that the A/C control unit plugs in to. I replaced the controls only to realize its the plug [attached to the car] thats bad.

The white plug thats behind the the **** that controls the vents?

If it's something that I can order, then re-wire it would be great. I'd like to avoid the junk yard

HELP!

A part number isn't going to help. Dealers carry parts for cars until they are 10 years old. That part was last used on the 2006 Chrysler Sebring/Dodge Stratus. They would have stopped carrying it last year, but the plug is part of the wiring harness assembly. It's remotely possible that you can get a service kit to repair it. Talk to the guy at the parts counter at your local dealership. You don't need a part number to do that. If the problem is with the electrical connectors within the plug, there are service kits to replace/repair those. If the plastic plug is melted or broken, a junkyard is probably your best hope. There is more than one plug back there, so be specific when you talk to the parts guy. The small plug is the data buss connector and connects the control head of the A/C-heater to the car's computer system. If he still has the parts catalogue on his computer, he can show you the diagram and you can pick out the part. That's how he determines the part number to order, and that's why you don't need a part number. Junkyards don't deal in part numbers either.
You didn't specify coupe, convertible or sedan. The convertible and sedan use the same part, which is also used on the Dodge Stratus. The coupe (built by Mitsubishi) may use a completely different part.
