Hi im changing the serpentine belt on my friends 2002 sebring with the 2.7 24v and quickly googled the belt diagram and from what ive been able to read sounds complicated. Seen something that said about adjusting the belt tensioner?? and alighnment bolts and such. isnt it just put the ratchet in the tensioner and relieve tension and put the new one on like most cars? any input would be great.

 

one is spring loaded and the other is tension by an adjustment bolt

 

So one is your typical tensioner? How do you adjust the other one i wanna have a rough idea what im doing before i start

 

what do you do with the adjustmen bolt

 

Nobody can help me with how to adjust the adjustment bolt?
