Default 2002 Sebring Coupe - Mouse in the heat vents

Does anyone know where the cabin cold air intake is located? I want to put some copper wire mesh to prevent the mouse from making a house out of my heat vents.

If it's not immediately in front of the windshield I'd be very surprised. The coupe was designed and built by Mitsubishi but it can't be that much different. I can't imagine how or why a mouse could crawl up on the hood to get in there.

We took the car in and they found a nest in the venting by the fan. Just want to prevent our little buddy from returning
