I have eight (8) MIL codes on my transmission.
1. PO700- TRANSMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM MALFUNCTION
2. PO841- TRANS L/R PRESSURE SWITCH CHECK FAILURE
(MIL CODE 036)
3. PO992- 2-4/OD PRESSURE SWITCH TEST FAILURE
(MIL CODE 051)
4. PO994- LOSS HYDRAULIC PUMP PRIME
(MIL CODE 053)
5. PO733- 3RD GEAR INCORRECT RATIO
( MIL CODE 083)
6. PO732- SECOND GEAR INCORRECT RATIO
(MIL CODE 082)
7. PO1790- FAULT AFTER SHIFT
(MIL COD 054)
8. PO846- 2-4 SIGNAL CHANGE
(MIL CODE 034)
ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. 2.4 DOHC. TRANNY TAKES TIME TO ENGAGE AND TO SHIFT.

 

Have you checked your fluid level? When was the last time it was changed?

If the problem isn't fluid related, the next area of attack would be to replace the solenoid pack. Search the forums for a discussion on how to do that. If you're reasonsbly handy you can do that. No guarantees there, but if you search the web you can find a solenoid pack for about 50 bucks. If that doesn't do it, it may be time for AAMCO.
