Default 2004 Sebring 2.7 v6 convertible Replacing coolant reservoir tank

The hose connecting the reservoir to the bleeder housing has broke off at the reservoir. To replace the reservoir tank, what has to be removed. What I found in the Haynes manual, is for replacing the radiator AND reservoir. Im hoping that the radiator does not have to be removed to replace tank??

there's a clamp on the AC line that holds it to the strut tower. removing that will also get you a little more wiggle room.
be careful of the windshield washer tube, as it's probably stupid brittle now at its age. you might want to unclip that as much as possible so it easily moves out of the way as well.

Is it really that easy? I’m no mechanic but I’ve done a bit and not afraid to get dirty. I can get the reservoir for $30 bucks and do it (I believe). My SO wants to take it to a shop. He’d rather pay all that labor and double parts prices. Sure he’ll pay now, but I’ll pay later. And I just know I can do this. I don’t need to raise it up (God forbid) really and no special tools (?) (which I probably have anyway)

I mean if you've ever wrenched, I'd say it's do'able.
pull the 2 silver bolts, unbolt the power steering and AC bits from the tank, pull the clamp on the strut tower holding the hard line.
keep in mind there's a larger hose lower on the coolant tank with a band clamp on it you'll see it once the power steering tank is moved out of the way..
you should have a bottle of Zerex G05 mixed ready to put in as you're going to lose some.

Thank you all! I was able to get it done!! Woo Hoo another accomplishment and it worked fine, Once again on the road. I have to say, for as bad a rap these Sebrings have mine has taken me fairly well down the road. Just noticed I have 171,800 miles on it. So I do expect to be fixing things. Keeping my fingers crossed that the Head Gasket sealant holds out for a bit longer until I can either have it fixed or get a different car. I absolutely LOVE my Sebring and it's the second one I've owned. Thanks again everyone
