2004 Sebring Radio has power but no sound
Hello,
Yes, I already used the search function. Seems like it may be my amplifier. Any other suggestions? Also, I cannot get the bezel around the radio off. There doesn't seem to be anywhere with a gap sufficient to stick even a tiny screw driver in as many threads have said to do.
Does anyone know of a site/thread that shows pictures of exactly how the radio/hvac bezel out?
Thank you for any and all help, it's needed.

Using your fingers, pull straight towards the rear of the car on the bottom of the bezel. If necessary, brace your thumbs against the dash outboard of the bezel. The bottom of the bezel will snap outwards a little ways. Then, using a plastic trim tool or wooden paint stirrer (NOT a screwdriver unless you WANT to damage the bezel), pry the bezel away from the dash. There are 6 clips that hold the bezel to the dash. Once snapped out, reach behind the bezel (which will have the HVAC controls attached, and unclip the leads going to the HVAC control. Then you can clear the whole thing from the dash. You will then have access to the bolts that hold the radio in place.
Be advised that there is more than one power lead to the radio. One comes through the IOD fuse and powers the clock. This provides power when the key is off to keep the clock running. There is another fuse on the lead that comes from the key switch to power the radio itself.
If you have the premium sound system, the amplifier is located under the passenger seat. Make sure that it's properly connected and not damaged/disturbed as a result of people jamming things under that seat.
If you had searched here for information on removing the heater control head you probably would have found all the above.
A set of plastic trim tools is cheap and worth its weight in gold.
