Post 2006 sebring: new battery kills radio

'06 Sebring Conv. was in the shop for a new side mirror and front/rear body work. Battery went dead for no reason. After new battery was installed, the following systems were dead: Remote locks; Power locks; Interior lights; Side Mirror Adjustors; and Clock/Radio. Fuses are intact. Mechanic said that after a battery change the computer needs time to reset, but it's been driving 5 days now

Any help?

more then likely a fuse the computer does not control any of the items mentioned and a reset is instant doesn't not need to learn anything, The story's some people tell the ignorance of some people at shops telling customers geee.

Check the IOD fuse. It's the one in the center of the inside fuse panel with the "ears" on it. It controls everything you listed except the mirrors. That may be a separate problem left over from the body work on the mirrors. Like Tech says, if the guy is telling you stories, it's not a stretch to question his work.
