Hi. First time posting here.
I have an 08 Sebing Touring, 2.7 L engine. I've had it for a year now and the only problem Ive had is the tire pressure sensor going off constantly. But the other day the car would not start. The electronic throttle control light was on and it wouldn't even turn over. After an hour of checking the engine out, I removed most of the fuses to reset the alarm, and it started again. Now the etc light comes on during the system check, but turns off after 8 seconds or so. Oh and I don't know if this is relevant but when I was unable to start the engine, the trunk wouldn't open with the key or the dash button. I've cleaned out the throttle body, just in case, but there is no issue with it sticking as far as I can tell. I will be changing the air filter today as I found some oil on it coming from a hose connected to the crankcase cover. It wasn't much but I think it could be slowing the air flow. So any ideas as to whether I need to do anything else or just leave it alone?
