Afternoon all, and hello from the UK.

My wife has a 2009 Sebring diesel, and ever since we have owned it, theres been a problem with the cruise control. It either wont activate at all, or it cuts out shortly after switching on.

I discovered something this morning, where if the cruise is activated, and the steering wheel is passed through the "wheels straight" position, the cruise cuts out.

Either bad contact of switch or the clock spring assy. in the steering column.
