Default 2010 sebring troubles.

Hi, all! I stopped yesterday to help someone on the side of the road. They said that they had driven through a water puddle, driven a few miles, and then it died. He got out, and saw that the fuse box cover was off, and that the fuses were wet. He pulled them, let everything dry, and tried it again. Nothing. No horn, blower motor, radio, windows, or headlights. Also does not crank. I dragged it to the house to work on. Fuel pump does prime and the dash lights work. Pulled the drivers side of the bumper (thanks mopar engineers), and charged the battery after disconnecting it. Battery shows and holds about 12.6 V. Took a screwdriver and jumped the starter with the key in the on position, and it cranks over but does not start. From my research on these cars, there is only the one fuse/relay panel, which is the one on the drivers side under the hood. Checked continuity on every fuse and tested every relay. Any ideas?

Dismount the fuse panel(also called the TIPM) and check the multiple wire connectors underneath. Don't just look, unplug and check for corroded wire pins. Put dielectric grease to them on re assmbly. Also in the fuse panel(TIPM) is a PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD, water getting to it does NOT bode well for electricals to work, even after a dry out.

Okay. Got the tipm pulled apart. Got a few burned looking spots. Guess it's time to hunt one down. I will post results after installation of the new tipm
