Default 2012 2.4L timing Cover

I have a 2012 Chrysler 200 2.4L limited. I was recently told my timing cover is starting to leak and I should replace it soon. I'm pretty mechanically inclined and do most of my own work. I have been looking around and I can not find any videos or written out directions on how to fix this. I want to know what I'm getting myself into before I start. Anybody ever done the timing cover on one these cars?
TIA

I was just wondering the same thing. If you could give me any advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps if you searched timing chain replacement, that would give you the directions of removing and reinstalling the timing cover.
Of more common leak area...Do you actually mean VALVE COVER leaking????

the timing cover is plastic, all it does is slow down any water or dirt that could get on your timing belt, if it's leaking oil from the cover, you have 2 cam seals and 1 crankshaft seal, it's usually the cam seals that leak, I sugggest if your going to go into it that far to do cam seals,I would replace the timing belt, water pump & idler & tensioner, they can be bought in a kit,and replace the 2 cam seals and 1 crank seal
