Default '96 sebring problem

I have a 1996 sebring convertible with intermittent problem. Normally the car operates as it should. but on occasion after I shut off the engine it won't start and run. It will start and run for about 10 seconds and then die. The gauges and courtesy lights don't work but the radio plays when experiencing this problem. Several hours later the car will start and run as it should. This happens usually when the outside temperature is in the upper 70s or 80s. The car has 84000 miles on it and otherwise in very good shape I would be grateful for any help.
Thanks, Bob
