you are correct dc it wont turn over
im going to take the starter off later today and have it checked

hi again
got the started checked said it was fine starter relay is good also heard click
have power going to starter
so maybe its the at the key
how do i check that i have removed the steering covers i see 1 plug going into lock do i check there for power?
thanks again for all the help

If you've got power at the starter and relay (click), the problem won't be at the key. The key switch comes first in the circuit, the starter is last. Think about it.

Maybe the power you have is weak due to corroded terminals or a bad battery.
