Default 98 lx, 2.4,convert, motor mts bolts????

hello, i have a 1998 2.4 lx convert. looking for help in determining the size of bolts for the front motor mount and a cast alumiumin looking bracket behind the motor mount that bolts to the engine, missing 2 of the 3 or 4 for the front mount, the front mount(with the rubber) has 4 bolts and i was missing 1 of the 4, that i was able to dertmine its a 8mm std thread, but the bracket( between there and engine) , having no luck ,tried a 10mm but wouldnt start or felt alittle small, so anybody can help??????, dont want to buy all kinds of sizes, beside not a lot of room to work up there. dont want to be crawling back and fore alot
. so i thought maybe help here for correct bolts

Your best bet is to either buy the bolts from a Chrysler dealer or pull them off a car at the junkyard. You need the correct diameter, length and strength. You are unlikely to get everything right by buying hardware store bolts.

That's odd because I have a .pdf version of a 2001 parts book and the bolts are clearly shown and listed.

Dc, ya i thought so too, i mean heck how would a tech fix anything like this missing bolts, he or she have to run all over town, doesnt make sense. Just curious what does your pdf call for on 2001 motor mounts bold??,, the 4 bolts in the mtn its self are 9.8 hardness 8mm std thread, that i was able to find by taking one out and matching it at auto parts store, but the bracket between thee and the motor its self no luck yet, just wonder if 2001 used same, engineers on something like that dont make yearly changes, that be too costly. let me know if you can.
where did you get a pdf for your yr, would like one for my 1998 lx, plan on keep it for a few more yrs,
Thx for any help you can give

A couple of years ago chryslerparts.net used to post the parts catalog on line as a .pdf. Now they have a different system. I was able to download it back then and have kept a copy. Send me a PM (private message) with your e-mail address (don't post it up, there are some spammers who troll these boards) and I'll e-mail the page(s) to you. I tried attaching it to this post but the file is too large, even for one page. It shows several of the bolts (long ones), not sure if it will show the ones you're talking about. Junkyard may still be the best bet.
