Question ABS,Traction ,Brake,Bas light on

2008 Sebring Limited hardtop Convertible, Abs,and associated lamps come on. They go off after ignition shut off ,then come on again at about 10 mph. Not showing code with scan tool. fluid level ok, front wheel sensor looks ok, haven't lifted back yet. Anyone know what I can check? It looks like ABS module ,no longer available, only used ,off E bay.

You will need a scanner that can pull abs module diagnostic codes. A number of auto parts stores are able to read the abs codes and should give you a printout/list of the codes. That list will get you started diagnosing the issue. Have both the active and stored codes read since you noted the lamps do not light on start-up. A stored code is a previously active code (turns on the lamp) and is no longer active. Stored codes are kept for 30-40 starts.

I suspect a front wheel sensor may not be reading properly because of the traction control lamp (front brakes used for traction control). May be a corroded connector, bad sensor or a damaged tone wheel on the hub. Unlikely to be the abs module.

I had to buy a scanner that did ABS CODES . I have C2200, Abs module. I can't see it under the hood. Do you know where it is ? left side ,right side, probably buried under everything else. Its an unobtanium part, only available as used part from salvage yards, or Ebay. so I want to get a real good look at it first. Hopefully Easter egg a loose connection . Thanks ,Art
