Default Acceleration problems

My 2002 Chrysler Sebring Lxi Convertible with 61k miles is having acceleration and hesitation issues. There is no check engine light on in the car, and when I put a scanner on and scanned the computer there are no fault codes. The only thing I could find was some failed test in the onboard monitoring system, that I can't access or know how to interpret. The failed test will be mentioned below.
  • $16 Mid:16 Module $10: Failed (Value 0, TID 00)
  • Vvt Monitor Bank 3 Mid 37 Module $10: Failed ( Value o, Tid 00)
I have no clue what this means and can't find anything online about this. To me, it does not make any sense as to why a car with such low mileage would be behaving like a car with at least 150k miles on it. If you would like to comment on something, it would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried the "key dance" to see if any fault code will show up? Key on, off, on, off, on. (Not starting, just to the "on" position.) Fault codes will show up in the odometer space.

You may have a failed computer. There are many sources on the internet for getting a replacement on an exchange basis. You send them your VIN and mileage along with about $200-250 and they ship you the replacement computer. It's plug and play. Then you send your old one back in the shipping container they supply. Very easy but make sure it's necessary before you spend the bucks.

Here's one such place: https://www.carcomputerexchange.com/

Does your scanner pull pending codes as well a stored codes and is it able to pull codes other than related to the check engine lamp and emissions, e.g. battery/charging system? If a test failed a code will be stored but may not light the check engine lamp.

The reference to vvt monitor is confusing as the 2.7l never had variable valve timing (vvt).
