Now when the temp. is under 35 or so degrees when you unlock doors the horn sounds, its a steady sound, not short bursts. the add on didnt sound the horn when locking-unlocking,only lights blinked..only happens when its cold.any ideas???

Have you asked the people who sold you the add-on system? I am positive they will have much more information about the system and what they did to install it than anyone here.
