Default Bulb voltage

2001 Sebring convertible

Anyone know what the voltage (or number) for the instrument panel bulbs is? I have at least one bulb that is out, but I cannot find any markings on any of the bulbs that illuminate the panel.

Thanks

Shop manual says PC 194. Best bet is to bring one along when you go to the parts store.

By the way, when are you going to post up a picture of that car? We have heard a lot about it. Show it off!

I already have the bulb set aside. I just didn't want to get one the correct size but wrong voltage. Thanks for the part number.

Maybe I'll post pics after I put the carpet back in it. Though it does look nice without a dash and only the driver's seat.

Bulb was either 158 or 161. Both looked to be the same size. 158 is 14 volt and 161 is 12 volt (except that only one package said 12, the others said 14. Eli Whitney's idea for interchangeable parts is open for interpretation, it appears.). I bought the 12 volt one and that seems to work. Unfortunately, two bulbs still seem to not be working. I have correct continuity in the instrument cluster board itself. Guess I need to track down a bad ground somewhere on the car.
