Default A/C compressor

Is there any way you can take the bearings off the compressor on Sebring '02 2.7 without taking the lines off. I took the belt off and when you move the A/C compressor pulley by hand it makes noise. Also about the idler pulley. When are you suppose to replace it? The belt looks kind of cracked So I'll probably replace it. I guess the main thing is the A/C compressor. Car has about 98000 miles.

Аny suggestions?

I just changed out the compressor in mine last summer and I would not want to try to work a clutch puller in there, but perhaps it can be done. The more relevant thing though is that a clutch pulley will cost close to $200-- that might be better spent toward a complete compressor since yours is probably old.
