Default Cam sensor Problem

I have bought a 2004 sebring with the 2.7L V6. Apparently someone has put a motor in the car and it would not start. No error code and no spark. I unplugged the cam sensor and it will start but will not accelerate over 3000 rpm. I believe I need to change the cam gear to match the crank sensor. Anyone know how to tell what type I need or can I just get a 2004 sebring 2.7 cam gear and fix it? Thanks in advance

I have one you can have. I just removed it from an 2004 2.7 I just put a 2004 into a 2001 and had to use the 01 cam ring. Just pay for the shipping its yours. Russ
