Default CD Player problem

I recently had the Sebring (2001 LXI)in for service at Champion Chrysler in Indianapolis as I was getting a BUS error. Come to find out there was an aftermarket alarm installed on the car that we were never told about when it was purchased from another Chrysler dealership. Anyhow, before taking the car in, the player worked without problem.

After getting the car back, the CD player will no longer work. When the car is turned on, all 5 LEDs blink. I spoke and took the car back into Champion Chrysler but they said they didn't have anything to do with the cd player and that it was on another circuit altogether. However, I was reading earlier tonight that the fact they did not remove the CDs from the player prior to disconnecting the battery could damage the CD player. Does anyone know if this is accurate? Any other things I'm missing? Or just plain coincidence?

Default RE: CD Player problem

I have never heard of that if u leave cds in the player it will mess it up. I ahve done that a few times either with teh batt or by removing teh cd changer to get to something. U could try and unplug the IOD or radio fuse and it will reset the radio and look for the cd changer again. Try that.

Default CD player removal

I have a 2001 Sebring with a 4 disc cd player located under the radio cassette deck that has a disc stuck in the unit. It won't eject, maybe 2 discs stuck together in the first cd slot.
How can I get it to eject?
