Default does anyone know what is a gooseneck?

my machanic stated i need a new gooseneck but i cant find it anywhere maybe he is giving another name does anyone know what is the name it is like something that a hose suppose to be connected to , thats how it look and it runs from the engine to the radiator. please let me know if anyone know what is the real name so i can look it up and find it.as well as a tension

sometimes a goosneck is a term for thermostat housing

thanks alot i think u right is it still called that when it has the sensor and everything still on it the complete housing im meaning when everything seem to still be attached except the hose but where the hose and everything should be hooked up with

iam not to familiar with your car but lot of engines have a coolant sensor in the housing for the emmisions some are electric some
are vacuum not sure what hose you are taulking about
