Door Lock Question

Question Door Lock Question

Need some direction on this,kinda of stumped.
01 Sebring drivers dook lock does not work thru the switch.Flicking the passengers switch it works. Both switches work. Know this from switching the switches.All lock actuators work. Is there a seperate fuse somewhere?
Any help ? thanks.

There's a gizmo in the ignition switch that detects the presence of the key. If it sticks and thinks the key is in there, the body control computer will not allow you to lock the doors electrically so you don't lock the keys in the car. Try putting a drop of WD-40 on the key to see if you can get that detector moving again.
