Default p0344

I am the proud owner of a beautiful 2003 Sebring LX 2.4, I am getting a P0344 trouble code, which is an intermittent cam shaft sensor. Can anyone tell me if it is ok to drive the car for a few more days, and if I change the sensor myself, 1. will it be difficult, and 2. will this fix the problem.

Thanks in advance for any help.
