Check the IOD fuse again. It's the one in the inside panel with the "ears" on it.
If it's blown, check your installation work on the radio again carefully to see why it blew. If your installation work is good, maybe the radio is bad. Check with the people who made it/sold it to you.

I changed the battery and the alternator in my 2008 sebring. The car will start occassional after all of that. I have taken it to my mechanic and he cannot find anything wrong with it. on days when it does not start I will jump it and it will run for a week before it will not start again. Please help

Yours is a completely different problem on a completely different car. You should start a new thread rather than jumpng in on someone else's case.

Anyway, as long as we are here:

"I changed the battery and the alternator in my 2008 sebring." Why did you do that? What problems were you experiencing that caused you to do that?

"The car will start occassional[ly] after all of that. I have taken it to my mechanic and he cannot find anything wrong with it." What has he done? What kind of diagnostic equipment does he have?

"on days when it does not start I will jump it and it will run for a week before it will not start again." Does it crank but not start? Or does it not even crank over?

Which engine does your car have?
