Before you tear into this project, get a manual and study up on the proper procedures for timing the engine. The Haynes manual has a pretty good write-up if you don't want to buy the Chrysler shop manual.
You will be going in thru the wheel well for some of the work, not just diving down from the top.

well pointing me to any writeups and such would be appreciative. It looks like I can get the haynes one from our downtown library so that could be something for me to do really quick before I move on this. I am not excited but I need to get this done. I can not drive my truck for too long with the v8 until I start to feel the pinch at the pump.

Hey just adding to this, I am double checking about the harmonic ballencer puller that is needed on these cars, Really asking just to make sure I have to buy a different tool than the one that I have already. So I have one that looks like this.



and This one is what I am seeing, Kind of an expensive puller if I say so...
