Default Sebring '00 Jxi new stereo needed-where to start

Newbie here, with Father's day just around the corner we'd like to get Dad a new stereo. Not sure what is a perfect fit. The current one is factory install, cassette with cd in trunk (this stopped work a few months back). Would love to get updated stereo and bluetooth system. He always fixes our cars first, it's time he get upgrade too. After searching the internet more lost than before. Will any stereo fit? Suggestions on your own preferred system (and where to get it) will be helpful.

Default Flip out front warning from Crutchfield .com is this real concern

Loving Crutchfield, "Outfit my car" for the sound system. After deciding which system to choose, each time I put in check out cart Crutchfield pops up warning that "Video receivers with flip-out monitors may not work in this vehicle because of the configuration of the factory dash." Will this be a true issue with '00 Sebring convertible JXi? Any help would be great.
