Default Stalling

I've got a 98 Sebring coupe, V-6, that's started stalling when the rpms are low. Any ideas what I'm going to have to fix?

Default RE: Stalling

First place to start is grab any codes from the computer. Malfunctioning engines often leave a trail of error codes that can be read with an OBD II code scanner. Your local AutoZone store might be happy to read yours for you and give you a report.
If that comes up dry, you could look at the idle air control motor for a start, but it could be many other things, too, like weak fuel pressure, or bad spark, failing coil, etc, etc.

If you go to autozone and they do read the codes, resist any pressure they may put on you to buy the part named in the code. Just post the code up here for more advice.

There's only one guy at our autozone that actually knows anything about fixing cars, the rest of the guys there just pretend they do.
