Default Vacuum pipe mystery!

Hello fellow Chryslerites,

On generally checking my 07 Sebring recently - which is running a bit sluggish at the moment to be honest - I have stumbled across two vacuum pipes that are just hanging loose at the back of the engine! One is green and the other is blue but for the life of me I can't seem to see where they should connect to and any searches I've done online are fruitless.

I know that they start from the vacuum amplifier but where they go to is, at the moment at least, a mystery!

The Sebring is a European model and had a 2.0 litre VW diesel engine if that helps.

Any help, advice or diagrams would be greatly appreciated.

Happy motoring,

Jon

You probably won't get much of a response to your question because most of the people here in the Sebring forum are from the US and Chrysler never sold the diesel version of the Sebring over here.
Further down the front page you'll find the Chrysler Voyager and Town & Country forum which has a large number of UK participants. The 2.0 L diesel engine was widely used in the UK in the Voyager and one of the guys there might be able to answer your question.. Good Luck!
