What is "Nobus" dashboard code

I suddenly have similar situ on 2001 3.0 V6 coupe: replaced EGR sensor to fix another code. Ran better than ever(!). Went for a nice Sunday outing. Parked car. Next AM=lots of spinning engine but just won't start.
Code reader came bak with "ERROR", that's all. According to reader's manual "ERROR" = "cannot communicate". (perhaps same as"No Bus" above for another type of reader?)
Tried the disconnecting batt for 30 min's, but same results (or lack thereof).
Help?

The usual problem with that engine not starting is the distributor. If you search the forum here enough you'll find numerous such discussions. The failure of your code reader to communicate with the computer could be a completely separate problem that might very well be related to the code reader rather than the car. You might be able to rule that out if you can borrow another code reader and hook it up to see if the failure to communicate problem persists.
If you'll notice, this thread was started by someone with a problem on a 2.7L engine. Your coupe was built by Mitsubishi. The 2.7L engines went into sedans and convertibles which were built by Chrysler. They are totally different vehicles with practically no parts in common. It's not likely that your problem is related to that problem because of the dissimilarity of the cars. Accordingly, you might want to start a new thread related to your problem rather than opening up an old thread.
