2018 300 S Uconnect 8.4 Touchscreen not working
I have a 2018 300s that I purchased in October. This morning the touchscreen stopped responding to touch. I am not able to touch any commands on the screen. I can navigate in the radio using voice, but no touch is working. I was able to connect to car play and control the song (fast forward, rewind, and play/pause) I am not able to go into to the menu by touch, or control the phone/ radio. I called uConnect and of course their response was take it to the dealership. This is extremely annoying because as you all know most, if not all of the vehicles controls rely on the ability to use the touch screen. I am wondering if there is a way to soft/ hard reboot the system without using touch. I tried to use voice commands but nothing. I went on youtube to find some videos and nothing worked. Any advice would be helpful. Going to any Chrysler dealership is a hassle and as it stands attempting to book an online appointment with my purchase dealer has me waiting until a week out for help with this. Please advise.

Hi dw8625,
I'm sorry this is happening with your touchscreen! Feel free to send us a PM with your VIN and we can see if there's anything we can help with on our end for you.

Touchscreen has a mind of its own
I have a2018 300C, 28000 miles. The touch screen seems to detect touches all the time. It changes from Sirius to Fm frequently while I am driving. It puts the live map on screen at will while I have the radio on
I am afraid that if I take it to my dealer they will not seethe issue since the symptoms seem to change daily
Any ideas on how to fix this

Dealer fixed
Nathan, took mine to local dealer here in Florida. I had a video of the screen going wild and changing radio stations every few seconds
Service rep took one look at screen and said it was delaminating at the top. Didn't need my video.
they ordered a new unit and will install it using my extended warranty that I purchased when I bought the car new.

300 radio
same for me. I have seen that Chrysler has in some cases helped out, when out of warranty.
Salesperson at Autonation hasn’t helped. Going to Autonation and Chrysler is next.
radio changes stations. tries to change anything and everything on the display. phone wont connect etc.
VERY not pleased with this situation. Been going on for a year.
