Are you using the a/c in the recirculation mode for long periods of time? Known to give that type of condition you describe in many makes of auto's. If so try using normal mode after getting to the temp you desire and see if it still happens.

i had same problem with my pt cruiser.. eventually stopped blowing cold aire.. to my surprise a year later i was doign an oil change and saw that my electrical wire going to the ac was hanging down.. apparently it was just loose and would connect ramdonly.. so i hooked it up and bam.. ice cold ac.. so i would suggest serching all your cables

Default Many things

It could be your A/C compressor or something with your coolant
