Consequences of UConnect Touchscreen Repair Fail
Hi all,
In all the discussions about repairing the touchscreen by replacing the $35 digital screen, I've never seen a comment about what happens to the car's systems if the repair fails.
If I mess up the screen replace (unknowingly) and plug the wires back in, does the system stay as inop as before, or does it get worse?
Does the A/C go bonkers or just stop working? Does it turn the 300C into a 4,000lb paperweight?
(A little tongue in cheeks there) but you get my WIFE'S drift.
