Default Dead 2 X's 2008 Chrysler 300

I have had my 2008 Chrysler 300 for less than a year and twice when I have tried to start it, it is completely dead. I had it towed the first time, to the dealership. They checked the battery ect... and said it was now, fine. That was about 4-5 months ago. No problems since until this morning. Same exact thing, again. Will have to have it towed back to dealership only to hear them say it's ok. What do I look for in this situation? What should I expect from the dealership? I want them to cover all the basis. The lemon law won't apply until it has happened 3 x's. This is the second. Has anyone had similar problems? Help me. This is a new car and I am stranded!!! Not right. Thanks, in advance, for your help.
I have had many chrysler and dodge vehicles. This one is a disappointment.

A battery draw test must be done. What we have be finding on the 300 is the instrument cluster is staying awake.[it is a computer module]

My 2002 Chrysler 300M has developed a similar problem. If the car isn't used, the battery is dead by the third day. Two trips to the Chrysler dealer have come up with nothing from their diagnostic tests, nor have a new alternator and new batteries. I left it on a maintenance-level trickle charger because I would be away for a monthand I was shocked thatit didn't keep up with the energy drain.

A new symptom I got this morning appears to be consistent with the problem beinga computer module associated with the instrument panel. Driving along with the temperature controller set in Manual and the fan switchin its relative 'off' position, all of a sudden the air came on full blast by itselfand the panel lights for the air conditioner, recirculation and air flow distribution came on.

Has anyone had this happen as well? I'll look into this further and I'll post anything that I learn. Thanks for the insight.

That real bad luck!

Have the dealership resolved it yet?

I had a quick chat with the service manager at a different Chrysler dealer(someone that my neighbor has gone to for over twenty years) to explain the situation and Jamie's posting as to the computer module being the likely culprit. He said that he'd never come across that problem. I set up an appointment for him to do a battery drain test but have had to postpone it because of some travel that has come up. I'll post something again whenI learn something.

I finally got my 2002 Chrysler 300M to the dealer. He was quick to point out that the thread I showed him was for a 2008 Chrysler 300C, but I didn't think it unreasonable to raise the possibility that there might be a similarity and consistency to Chrysler electronics (and their problems)here and there.

He did find that the air conditioner compressor head module(?) was bad... a $400+ part... and he replaced it. He's confident that my problem is fixed, but I won't know for sure until the next time the car sits unused for two or three days.
