Default Has anyone hooked up an after market amp?

If anyone has hooked up an after market amp in their 300 could you please tell me which fuse best to hook up the remote wire, I did not get a owners manual with car so I do not know what fuses are what...Which fuses in the trunk would be the best bet(which number)?...Thank you.

Default RE: Has anyone hooked up an after market amp?

hello to hook up the remote wire it is best to get a 12v switch and run a wire from the power wire of the amp to the switch and then a remote wire from the switch to the amp remote the switch can be of any sort i do prefera 12v switch with a inline fuse of 5amps for protection you can mount the switch of your choice anywhere but a round switch can be flush mounted about anywhere in the car my is located where the heated seat switch would be hope this helps you out good luck also by running a switch this way do not forget to turn it off when you get out of the car lol
