Default Key FOB programming '

Having trouble programming a 2016 fob I bought an aftermarket one and have tried two auto locksmiths. The last told me the car is not responding to programming equipment. Could I have a car problem? My original fob works fine but only got one when I
bought the car. Thoughts or suggestions? Never thought it could be a car problem. Maybe the guy was blowing smile. The first guy I used has called me back saying his equipment is updated so we will see. But y’all are the experts.!

if 2 separate people are having the same issue then its the fob you got thats the prob. Wrong frequency range for the module you have installed.

It has been known when a newer module is installed the old keys will not program because the new module has a different set of frequencies and a newer key also needs to be used.
