the range on my remote to my 07 Chrysler 300 has severely decreased i changed the battery but still no improvement was wondering what else i could do to fix this?

I have a brand-new 300, and my remote start is very fickle. Sometimes it works from anywhere, and other times it won't work standing twenty feet in front of the car. Sometimes it works from in my house, and other times it doesn't. Go figure.
