I have a 2012 Chrysler 300S - Hemi Engine - 107,000 miles. I started my car today and could hear (From inside the car) a light ticking/knocking sound coming from the engine area from the car. As I accelerated, the ticking/knocking got fasted, and as I decelerated, the knocking/ticking also decelerated. By the time I got to my destination, the ticking/knocking was loud. You could easily hear it from inside the cat and definitely from outside the car. No Check engine Light. No other indicator lights either. I checked oil and that seems to be ok. Anyone else have this problem before? I'm debating just towing my car to a shop since I'm not sure if it's the actual engine knocking. Any ideas?
