Default SRT-8 headrest monitor, connectors

A friend of mine recently bought a 2008 (<- if my memory serves me right) 300C SRT-8 and I've been helping him getting the audio system up and running. Now I'm looking for information about the headrest screens which are installed in the car, where parts of the wiring has previously been removed from the vehicle.

The headrests are equipped with unbranded LCD screens with a wire+connector coming out of the bottom of each front seat. They appear to have been fitted professionally, if they're not OEM. The connector for each screen is a 7-pin mini-din, but the wiring only goes as far as the connector under the seat. There should be a mating connector with a harness carrying 12V+, ground and analog (RCA) video signal to each screen from a source unit up front. But the mating connector and the harness is missing, so I can't tell what's been feeding the video to the screens (headunit or possibly aftermarket dvd player maybe?).

Does anyone else have these particular screens in their 300 headrests? I searched high and low on google but only found identical screens in headrests from a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer that was breaking for parts.

If you can please help me out, I'm looking for any and all information about which brand these screens are, if they're an OEM option, wiring schematics for this particular model, etc. I can buy 7-pin connectors of the same type online, but with mini-din there is no standard as to which pins carry 12V, ground and video. That's up to each equipment manufacturer to decide... so I need specific information about these particular screens, as just connecting 12V+ to random pins in the connector to see if the screen fires up is a good way to start an actual fire instead!

Background information:

The seller (or possibly the previous seller before that) had ripped out the stock headunit, disconnected alle the plugs from the amp under the driver's side dash, installed some adapters for speaker wires at the amp connectors, cut and spliced a lot of the audio wiring in the dash in an apparent effort to bypass the OEM amp.... you get the idea. All that was left was a gaping hole full of wiring where the OEM headunit used to be, and no sound.

The car came with a new but uninstalled 9" android headunit (one of those ebay or aliexpress units with a 300c-specific bezel that replaces the entire center piece of the dash console) that the previous owner had purchased but didn't know how to install. He'd started the job and given up.

I've done dozens of installs so my friend came to me looking for help getting the audio going again. Took me a couple of days to identify each cable and get everything wired right, but the android headunit is now hooked up with a canbus adapter + aftermarket Alpine "R" speakers and a DD Audio amp. Also about 20 pounds of bitumen soundproofing mats in the front doors and rear deck. Sounds awesome.

However: now that the audio is taken care of, he really wants to get the headrest LCDs working again too, since the 9" android headunit can play movies and has an analog video signal output (yellow RCA labeled "video out" which would have plugged straight into the missing harness for the screens). His kids are eager to watch movies on long drives on these screens, and since I could never say "no" to kids I'm making an effort to make the screens operational again.

Is there anyone on here who has any information about these screens at all? Thanks!
