Default 2007 - Aspen How to change(remove) subwoofer with Alpine system

Does anyone know hos to remove the subwoofer in the 2007 aspen limited with the alpine upgraged system? It's blown and needs to be replaced. Also if you have replaced have you used an aftermarket? What will fit(depth) and is anyone aware of the wattage used in the alpine sub amp?

You have to remove the C piller trim and quarter panel trim over the speaker. Make sure you remove the tie-down in order to remove the quarter panel trim. From there it's just a matter of removing the speaker.

I think it's an 8" sub, but I haven't checked it out.

Had no idea their was a sub-woofer option for this truck. Been wanting to add a little deep bass but didn't want to occupy the rear cargo area with a box. This gives me ideas. Now to see if I can order this panel and add my own sub or just modify mine to fit one.
