Default 5.7 hemi burning through cps

I have 2007 Aspen which goes through crank sensors very quickly. They last one day upto six months. The mopar parts do last longer but they still die. I have replaced the pigtail and that made no difference. What else do I need to check? Thanks for any response.

Not burning as in melting but causing the sensor to fail. They look good as new when removed. The last two were aftermarket and lasted about 5 miles. I have a new mopar sensor to put in but would like to rule out other causes before installing. Thank you.
