Default Blown 5.7

So, even though it doesn't seem there's a lot of performance people around here, figured I'd throw it out there.

Anyone have a blower on their 5.7? I've got a buddy who's got a Kenne Bell blower on his Durango and has to sell the car, so I could get the blower ($7K new), for less than half the price. It's a 12 psi blower and could easily add another 110 hp to the car. http://www.kennebell.net/supercharge...challenger.htm

Is there enough room under the hood or would I have to go cowl? It looks pretty tight back there, as the KB blower tends to sit up a bit. Looks like it'd interfere with the cowl of the windshield a bit.

Also, what about the cylinder deactivation? I know I'd need a tune, but I have no idea about the electronics involved in it.

Your probably better off posting on the srtconnection website. Alot of modding going on there with 5.7's. Also talk with your buddy's tuner to start.
