I recently replaced the rack in my 07 Aspen. Since then I have been getting the ESP/BAS light on the dash as well as a C123F code. It only happens when I turn the steering wheel to the right from center more than one full turn. I can turn it left to stop from center without any problems.
The wheel remained centered when I removed and installed the new rack. It may have turned very slightly as I pulled the steering knuckle off the rack and when I put it back on the new one. It couldn't have made it more than 1/8 of a turn as far as I can tell. I was hoping the code and lights would reset after a few ignition cycles but it has not.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
